Colt Trooper MK III .357 Magnum Double-Action Revolver, Serial No. J18501L, with Original Box and Paperwork
Description
A Colt Trooper MK III double-action revolver, chambered in .357 Magnum CTG., with serial number J18501L. The revolver is crafted from blued steel with a glossy finish and features checkered wooden grips adorned with a brass Colt medallion. The 4-inch barrel is clearly marked “TROOPER MK III” and “.357 MAGNUM CTG.”, with the manufacturer’s address “COLT’S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD, CONN. U.S.A.” impressed on the other side. A rampant horse logo is visible on the left side of the frame. It features a six-shot cylinder. The lot includes its original Colt-branded cardboard box, which bears a label identifying the model, caliber (.357), barrel length (4″), and serial number J18501L. Also accompanying the revolver are original factory paperwork, comprising an instruction manual, a “Colt on American heritage” target, and a letter from Colt Industries.
Condition report:
The revolver presents in very good to excellent condition with minimal cosmetic wear. The original Colt-branded cardboard box shows significant wear, scuffs, and minor tears, though its label remains legible. The original factory paperwork is in fair to good condition with typical creasing.
