Browning Hi-Power 9mm Semi-Automatic Pistol, Belgian Made, Circa 1978
Description
A Browning Hi-Power 9mm semi-automatic pistol, manufactured in Belgium by Fabrique Nationale Herstal. The pistol features a blued steel finish and checkered dark wood grip panels. The left side of the slide is marked “BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH & MONTREAL P.Q.”. The right side of the slide is marked “CAL 9M/L”, serial number “245PR44944” (also visible on the frame), and “MADE IN BELGIUM BY FABRIQUE NATIONALE HERSTAL”. The “PR” prefix in the serial number indicates a manufacture date of circa 1978. The pistol is accompanied by a single detachable steel magazine and a tan soft gun case branded “ACE CASE ELLISVILLE, MO”.
Condition report:
The pistol is in very good to excellent apparent condition. It retains a generally well-preserved dark blued finish with minimal visible wear consistent with light use. The grip panels are intact and show minor handling wear. The magazine and soft case are also in good condition.
