Description
A Winchester Model 70 Safari Express bolt-action rifle, chambered in .416 Rem. Mag. The rifle features a dark reddish-brown wood stock with finely checkered panels on the forearm and pistol grip. It is fitted with a black rubber buttpad marked “WINCHESTER”. All metal components, including the barrel and receiver, are finished in matte black. Barrel markings include “WINCHESTER® MODEL 70 416 REM. MAG. — MADE IN NEW HAVEN, CT U.S.A.” and “-SAFARI EXPRESS-“. The receiver is marked “WINCHESTER -TRADE MARK-” with a “W” logo and the serial number “G332137”.
