Vintage Winchester .32 Smith & Wesson Long Cartridges, Box with 20 Live Rounds
Description
A vintage Winchester .32 Smith & Wesson Long Center Fire cartridge box, containing 20 live rounds with mixed headstamps. The original green-and-black label on the front is marked “50 WINCHESTER 50”, “.32 SMITH & WESSON LONG”, “CENTER FIRE”, “98 GRAIN LEAD BULLETS”, “CARTRIDGES”, and specifies “Adapted to S. & W. Colt New Police and H. & R. Arms”, with manufacturer details “WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO., NEW HAVEN, CONN. U. S. A.”. An orange side label further states “.32 S. & W. LONG CENTER FIRE CARTRIDGES” and includes the alphanumeric marking “K^3277T”. The cartridges inside are brass-cased with lead bullets, displaying tarnish and patina consistent with age.
Condition report:
The cardboard box is in poor, heavily worn condition, exhibiting extensive tears, creasing, discoloration, and missing portions, particularly on the top flap. The labels show significant wear and fading. The 20 live rounds display tarnish and patina consistent with age.
