Description
A group of four vintage cardboard boxes of .257 Roberts ammunition and cartridge cases. The lot includes two yellow Western SUPER-X boxes, each containing 20 “SILVERTIP 100 GRAIN CONTROLLED EXPANDING BULLET” cartridges. A third yellow box, branded Winchester Western, contains .257 Roberts “UNPRIMED CASES.” The fourth box, yellow and blue from Dominion C-I-L, holds “TWENTY CENTRE FIRE CARTRIDGES” of .257 Roberts SP 117 Grain “Painted Soft Point Bullet.” The cartridges visible in an open box are brass with silver-colored tips, featuring “W-W .257 ROBERTS” headstamps.
Condition report:
The cardboard packaging shows signs of age, including creasing, discoloration, and some handwritten numerical notations such as \"325 3.05 2.50\" and \"400\" on various box surfaces. The visible cartridges appear to be in clean condition.
