A Smith & Wesson Model 66-2 .357 Magnum double-action revolver, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) from 1933-1983. The stainless steel revolver features polished wooden grips with S&W medallions. Markings include “SMITH & WESSON .357 MAGNUM,” “1933 ATF COMMEMORATIVE 1983,” “MOD. 66-2,” “BATF 0112,” and a “U.S. Special Agent” seal of the Department of the Treasury / Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms. The firearm is housed in a dark-stained wooden presentation case with a blue velvet interior, embossed with the ATF seal. The case includes a brass plaque inscribed “ATF COMMEMORATIVE 1933 / 1983 CHARLES MERCER.” Accompanying the firearm are a matching bronze-toned commemorative belt buckle and an enamel lapel pin, both repeating the “U.S. Special Agent” Treasury/ATF insignia and 1933-1983 dates, along with a paper detailing the career of Charles Mercer.


Condition report:
