Description
A collection of 60 Remington Express Rifle .17 Remington centerfire rifle cartridges. The lot comprises three vintage Remington Express Rifle cardboard boxes, each originally labeled to contain 20 cartridges. These boxes feature the distinctive green and yellow “Remington” and “EXPRESS® RIFLE” branding, with “RIFLE CARTRIDGES” and “20 CENTERFIRE RIFLE CARTRIDGES” indicated. Bilingual warnings in English and French are present, such as “Warning: Keep Out of Reach of Children” and “Mise En Garde: Gardez Hors De La Portée Des Enfants.” The end flaps of each box clearly specify “17 REMINGTON” caliber with “25 GR. HORNADY HP R17R2” bullet information. Accompanying the boxes is a black plastic Remington tray containing 19 brass-cased, copper-tipped “17 REMINGTON” cartridges, with one additional cartridge placed horizontally on top of the tray, bringing the total count to 60 rounds.
Condition report:
The three cardboard boxes exhibit typical shelf wear, including minor scuffs, creasing, and some discoloration consistent with age. One box shows black marker obscuring text on an end flap. The cartridges in the plastic tray appear to be in good, clean condition with minor handling marks.
