Description
A Marlin Firearms Co. Original Golden-39A lever-action rifle, chambered for .22 S.L. & L.R. ammunition, featuring a 24″ Micro-Groove barrel. The rifle exhibits a classic American style with a blued metal barrel and receiver, paired with a rich, dark brown wooden stock and forend. Both the stock and forend feature crisp diamond and arrow-shaped checkering patterns. It is fitted with a brass-colored trigger, an adjustable peep rear sight, and a hooded front sight. The hard rubber or plastic buttplate is embossed with an image of a cowboy on horseback. The barrel bears the manufacturer’s markings ‘The Marlin Firearms Co. North Haven, Conn. U.S.A.’, ‘ORIGINAL GOLDEN-39A’, ‘CAL 22 S.L. & L.R. MICRO-GROOVE BARREL’, and a safety warning.
Condition report:
Overall very good apparent condition. Minimal wear is visible on the metal finish and wood. The buttplate shows some minor surface scuffing.
