A vintage Winchester Super Speed 8mm Mauser ammunition box, containing 20 center fire, Staynless, non-mercuric, 170 grain soft point cartridges, identified by the product code K.8004 C. Manufactured by Winchester Repeating Arms Co., a division of Olin Industries, Inc. in New Haven, Connecticut, U.S.A., the cardboard box features a red, beige, and yellow design with the prominent “Winchester” and “W” logo. It is currently encased in a clear plastic wrap.
Condition report:
The cardboard box exhibits significant wear consistent with age, including fading, discoloration, creasing, and minor tears in the protective plastic film.
