Stevens Ranger .22 LR Target Rifle
Description
A bolt-action rimfire rifle, identified as a Stevens Ranger .22 LR Target Rifle, featuring a dark stained wooden stock and blued steel barrel and receiver. The barrel/receiver is clearly marked “RANGER .22 LONG RIFLE” alongside a small circular manufacturer’s mark. The rifle is fitted with a fixed hooded front sight and an adjustable target-style aperture rear sight. An aged brown leather sling is attached via metal swivels. A separate blued metal box magazine is included.
Condition report:
The rifle is in used condition. The wooden stock exhibits wear including scratches and minor indentations. The metal components show some loss of bluing. Visible oxidation is present on the metal buttplate and elements of the rear sight mechanism.
